Our Company

Coombe Fisheries Ltd is a leading seafood processor based in the South West of England. Formed in 1980, it is a local, family business which has achieved consistent growth through developing and sustaining long term partnerships with both customers and suppliers.

The company currently employs 85 people across its 2 production sites. The main activities involve processing King Scallop and Cuttlefish, and the supply of these products in many forms to local, UK and Europewide clients from small restaurants and hotels to the continental hypermarkets.

Quality is paramount to Coombe Fisheries and the company has attained BRC accreditation against the Food Standard from the first attempt back in 2001. It has held this certification at the Higher Level and in 2008 attained a Grade A; the highest achievable. In addition to this the compnay holds the Seafish Processor Award at Higher Level.

Coombe Fisheries are committed to investing heavily in it’s staff, plant and processing equipment. Constantly striving to improve efficiency, the company recognises the high importance of their front line staff and regularly holds consultative meetings.
